EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION

RUMINATE will begin with an artistic rendition of experience living off grid on a freehold former mining lease at Palmer River in Far North Queensland., and the transition of resettling at the Sunshine Coast at Coolum Beach.

Paula Bowie uses Clay as her medium using found Ochres, handmade slips, terracotta, white clays, and coloured oxides for this exhibition. Paula showcases ceramic pieces, usable Vessels, free form wall art and installations to represent her love for geological rock formations.

It shows when you ruminate on a time in life, those elements of beauty are reflected in the natural and built environments that surround you.
