BERSERK

‘BERSERK’, a new dance theatre work led by KIN Co-Director Jag Popham,
in collaboration with
Bella Hood, Asher Bowen-Saunders, Gina Tay Limpus, Bernhard Knauer, Fiona Jopp, Isaak MacLean,
Liam Linane and a great ensemble

During their TAKEOVER, they will bring together a core group of dancers and volunteers to create a somatic exploration of the mythopoetic realm, featuring shapeshifters traversing diverse terrains, undergoing threshold experiences, and crafting an engaging narrative in collaboration with present creative forces. This journey is simultaneously absurd and sincere, inviting the audience to experience the intersection of mythology and the modern body.

Throughout their time at The Old Ambo, they’ll facilitate morning dance classes and workshops, work with volunteers from the Sunshine Coast community, and hold set-building crafternoons. All of this will culminate in our public showing on the 23rd of March.
