EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION

This exhibition is a collection of recent and retrospective works depicting the ephemeral world of traveling shows, roadside vendors, itinerant workers and entertainers. During Jeff Manning's working life he has worked in circus, puppetry, music and alongside carnival workers and various entertainers including magicians, musicians and artists of various fields.

The works include paintings, installations, sculpture and stained glass. The largest painting," The Clown Funeral", measures 7m long and several other works are interactive.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Artistic Accomplishments: Cabaret and Circus Performer, Singer/Songwriter, Musician, Puppeteer, Stained glass painter, Painter. Lived and worked in Sydney and New England NSW and most recently Sunshine Coast Queensland.   .Jeff Manning has worked as an artist across many disciplines ,most recently as a mosaic artist and as a stained glass painter. His stained glass work has been installed in churches and also in private collections.
